Mike’s Experience

Mike Donghia is co-founder of This Evergreen Home and a daily contributor to the blog. He writes about minimalism, simple living, habits, time management, and frugality– all topics he has been passionate about since college. In fact, his first blog, which he started in 2011 in his junior year at Messiah College was named, Art of Minimalism. You can still check it out via this link on the Internet Archive.

Mike lives simply and minimally with his wife and four kids in Pennsylvania. In their first two years of marriage, he and his wife paid off $70,000 in student loans through extremely frugal living. He has become something of an accidental expert on habits thanks to his many attempts, failures, and eventual successes.

Over the past four years he has written hundreds of articles for this blog as well as guest posting on other popular intentional living blogs. He also maintains a weekly column on mindset at Epoch Times.
