Why declutter your life?

This modern world that we live in, like every era, has its blessings and challenges. We live longer and safer lives, but at the same time, surveys show we’re less satisfied than previous generations

At This Evergreen Home, we believe that the excesses of our age— too much stuff, distorted expectations, endless amusements, and a cult of convenience— have cluttered our lives and are distracting us from time-honored paths of a fulfilling life: cultivating gratitude, strengthening relationships, and serving others.

Decluttering your life is a way to make space for the things that really matter.

What will the challenges be about?

Clearing away mental clutter
Reducing your possessions
Paring down your schedule
Streamlining your finances
Shrinking your wardrobe
Minimizing digital clutter
Removing visual clutter
Eliminating distractions
Simplifying your health
Managing screen time
Curating your routines
Clarifying your goals
Just to name a few!

Still on the fence?

A few more reasons to subscribe 🙂

  1. Take actions towards your goals. Instead of just reading about minimalism and intentional living, this newsletter is designed to get you into action. You’ll be invited to participate in a fun challenge and then given the opportunity to share what you’ve learned. We’ll share stories of transformation with the whole community.
  2. Put some skin in the game. The $7/month cost is meant to be modest enough so that most can afford it, but enough that your brain is convinced you are making an investment.
  3. Measure your progress. One of the hardest parts about making a change is staying motivated, but research shows that most of us are highly motivated by seeing progress. Each month, when applicable, we’ll share a custom, printable tracker that you can use to stay organized.
  4. Enjoy exclusive content. If you’ve already come to enjoy the blog posts on This Evergreen Home, then you’ll appreciate even more access. Each month’s challenge will come with a short reflection and encouragement written by Mike and Mollie.
  5. Support the work of This Evergreen Home. We’ve published over 125,000 words of free content over the past 2 years, and loved every minute of it. If you’ve received any value from our words, we invite you to consider supporting our work by subscribing to our paid newsletter.
